Prof. Olena Rubanenko is a Doctor of Engineering Sciences and a distinguished researcher at the Research and Innovation Center for Electrical Engineering (RICE), Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of West Bohemia, Pilsen, Czech Republic. She is also a Professor in the Department of Power Plants and Systems at Vinnytsia National Technical University, Ukraine, and a Leading Researcher at the Institute of Renewable Energy Sources, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. In addition, Prof. Rubanenko is the Co-founder and Head of the Technical Department of the non-governmental organization Agency for Sustainable Development “SYNERGY” (Ukraine). Her research expertise includes renewable energy integration into power grids, artificial neural network (ANN)-based prediction, renewable energy generation analysis, and technical condition assessment of photovoltaic modules. She also serves as the chief editor of a tutorial book on the development of energy communities. Prof. Rubanenko has over 12 years of teaching and research experience in renewable energy, having educated students, energy managers, and green activists from Ukraine, India, Poland, China, and the Czech Republic.
